New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) issues a train time-table every year with the modifications and the addition of new trains. IRCTC has recently unveiled the IRCTC Trains At A Glance July 2019-June 2020 issue. The history of Indian Railways train time table is as old as the history of Railways itself as the first-ever Railway time table was published in England in the year 1839. The Railway time table is a comprehensive guide which includes complete information of the trains running, their routes, stoppage, schedule and train fares.
The Indian Railways had unveiled its first-ever concise train time table in the name of Trains At A Glance in the year 1977. IRCTC Trains At A Glance is a unique train travel guide contains all the information about Indian Railways including train timings, routes, reservation procedures, ticket booking rules, ticket cancellation rules and regulation of travelling, passenger amenities on trains and in stations including catering, menu types and rates, rail-tourism information and a host of other information.
“This year Ministry of Railways launches its 42nd Edition of Trains At A Glance which will be dedicated to the service of nation on 1st July, 2019,” IRCTC said.

IRCTC Trains At A Glance July 2019-June 2020 issue include comprehensive information including schedules of around than 1400 trains, comparative fare chart for each class of train per kilometre, reservation and cancellation of tickets, various passenger amenities and facilities on trains and at the railway station, rules and regulation of train travel, rail-based tourism in the country covering hill railways, luxury tourist trains and tourist train tour packages.
