For a few weeks now I have not received any vibration or notification from Whatsapp on my Vivoactive 3 Music. Only when I look at the notifications does it appear. With Telegram and other messengers, the watch vibrates and shows the notification directly.
Did you check notofication settings and permissions at both applications (Garmin Connect and WhatsUp) in Android settings >> Apps?

0 trux over 4 years ago in reply to 6853741Try turning on all notification instead of calls and texts in the GC app - tap on device icon at the top - sound and alerts - phone notification - show all notification
I managed to block WhatsApp on my Fenix 6 Sapphire and it no longer came up on my watch.
To fix I uninstalled Garmin Connect AND on the android phone bluetooth settings, forget this device.
Once I reinstalled GC and went through the pairing process again it has come back.
